Close by there are plenty of places to visit including Montacute House, Muchelney Abbey, Cadbury Castle which has long been associated with King Arthur - fantastic place for the children. For those interested in motors pay a visit to Haynes Motor Museum too.

There's a good few pubs where you can enjoy good food and an ale. Martock Gallery has a lovely picture gallery and Martyn Lacey Wood turning is worth popping in to.

There are a number of events taking place throughout the year including Martock Music and Social Society where you can watch the orchestra or visit the Farmers market when its on.
