Mode of transport then was Jersey horse drawn carriages that took a daily run to Lands End.

Today you can park your car outside and have quick and easy access to and from the main routes. Relax in our carefully created home from home environment as you are met and greeted by attentive and courteous staff. Settle in to well appointed ensuite rooms which are in keeping with the Victorian style and decor and harmonise with contemporary living. Some rooms enjoy views over the seafront, St Michael Mount and across to Newlyn Harbour. We are only 5 minutes from the historical town centre of Penzance where you will discover quaint and ancient streets, smugglers pubs, little shops and the sub-tropical gardens that are filled with fauna, flowers and all kinds of species of trees. Be sure to visit the Maritime Museum and make time for an afternoon tea with clotted cream and lashings of piping hot tea.
