This Guests Rating Bar for 4.0  Rating of 4.0 out of 5  Unique ID (3305082332)

Good stuff: It was clean, rooms were big enough but not huge, breakfast was good after a hard night out pubbing and clubing. Staff were attentive friendly and helpful.
Bad stuff: Nothing bad to say really it was adiquate for our stay overnight and priced reasonably for what we got.
Overall: We went for a night out to see some friends. Having looked at some of the accommodation available for the area we saw this one and decided that the price was right, the location was good and what people were saying about it was good as well. The other choices we had in mind were frankly twice as much and when we arrived we discovered we were in more or less the same area. We in fact passed by the other place as we walked down the front towards the North Pear. It took us about 20 minutes to make it all away along the front but the weather was good with a slight breeze off of the sea. One could in fact call it quite romantic. There is a tram stop just on the front at Gynn square so if you are not the romantic or walking type you can still get into the city centre with ease. Gynn square, where the hotel is located is a great place. It was were were told named after a Gynnel that used to be somewhere here. It is now a lovely garden which some of the rooms looked out over. The main feature of our stay I have to say was the staff at breakfast. We were greeted warmly by a lady with a lovely smile from ear to ear and shown to our table. After we sat down we were told about cereals fruit and juice which we helped ourselves to. We were then asked about tea or coffee and what type of breakfast we would like, which promptly arrived. A good place to stop and the bar area looked quite comfortable as well although we did niot have time to try it out. When I do come again I will certainly consider booking The Berwyn in Blackpool again.
