Our superb small and friendly hostelry can trace its history back as far as Victorian times and is set amongst the beautiful period architecture of other buildings in Richmond that are from a similar time. The village atmosphere of the town, set in one of London's most beautiful and desirable suburbs, has attracted many famous artists, actors, painters and musicians to move here to enjoy the relaxed semi rural location, while being only minutes away from the city centre. Richmond Park, with its famous herds of deer, the Magnificent Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens, with plants that you will find nowhere else in England, are all just minutes away.
We have 11 well proportioned, tastefully decorated and wonderfully comfortable single, twin and double rooms. Each room is equipped that everything that even the most discerning traveller would expect from an establishment of this class. All rooms have an elegant en-suite bathroom with shower; central heating; opening windows; remote control colour TV and hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits.
A hearty and satisfying full English breakfast is served in our dinning room, where later in the day, lunch time and evening until 8pm, you can enjoy a full menu of superb, home cooked meals all served with a smile in relaxed and cosy surroundings.
Just a few minutes walk away the town centre has a vibrant night life, with cinemas, nightclubs, bars, theatres, art galleries, a museum and a myriad of superb restaurants, whatever your choice in entertainment there is sure to be something to suit your tastes.
