Until 1985 our magnificent house was a private residence set in one of the most beautiful parts of England. In July of that year the Duke of Marlborough opened Foxcombe Lodge as a stylish and sophisticated hotel. Now our family owned and operated establishment is the ideal place for visitors who want to be close to the many attractions of Oxford, but prefer their accommodation to be in the peaceful and tranquillity of the countryside to the noise of the city.
Just 4 miles from the centre of the city, within minutes you can be enjoying the delights of its history and many more modern attractions, such as the theatres, museums, galleries and of course the superb architecture and heritage of the buildings.
We have 19 well appointed, stylish and supremely comfortable rooms that have everything you would want to make your stay enjoyable, including a PC terminal with 24 hour internet access.
In our cosy Bladon restaurant you can enjoy a menu of freshly prepared dishes, all created from only the finest ingredients and served in relaxed and informal atmosphere.
We have two bars, the MG Bar and the F1 Bar, both comfortable and relaxing with over 300 different drinks, including a wide range of single malt whiskeys, available.
