Why not start your visit to this historic city in a historic venue? Good sized rooms at low prices in the middle of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

This is a great choice to get the feeling of this fabulous historic town right from the start of your visit. As you arrive you will not the outstanding listed buildings architecture that greets you. As you enter the decor is elegant. Fitting in with the true nature of the town.

Rooms here are very nicely decorated. They will make you feel like you have taken up residence in a manor house. The bedrooms are of a good size. They have lovely firm mattresses on the bed and coverings that match the feel of the room.

Historical, arty and magical - there is plenty to see and do here in Stratford. From your chosen residence you can walk in to town and indulge in some retail therapy. Bridge Street is a good place to start in town. It is 4 minutes walk (350 yards) from the front door here. It leads in to High Street where you will find Nash House - the once home of Shakespeare and his family. High Street is filled with excellent shops. Head down to Sheep Street for smaller quality boutiques and stores and some really lovely intimate restaurants.

A further tribute to the great writer is paid at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre which is 500 yards (around 6 minutes walk) away from us. It sits on Waterside as it is next to the river Avon in front of the Bancroft Gardens. It plays host to open air entertainment during the summer months and a place where you can simply stroll and relax. The Elizabethan Gardens and New Place are not to be missed either.

For the sports minded there are a number of options - have a round of golf, practice your archery skills, spot of angling, watch a cricket match or take a horse riding trek. Opportunities for tennis and even sub Aqua Diving are all available at the numerous leisure centres in the town.

Why not hire a Classic Car and head out in to the Cotswolds beyond, visit Oxford, Warwick Castle and the Evesham Valley. You are in the land of fairies, dreams, magic and romance.
