Our welcoming establishment has a history that stretches back to mid Victorian times when it opened as a state-of-the-art hotel, with 100 rooms it was the premier place to stay. Now, almost 150 years later we still maintain this enviable position. We are continually up-grading and improving the facilities and services we provide for our guests and you will find a pleasant blend of olde-worlde charm and modern technology. We still have 100 comfortable and stylish rooms, which now include 33 family rooms, 31 executive rooms and the truly sumptuous '1862 Suite'. Our Victorian style restaurant is full of character and offers a superb atmosphere to enjoy the excellent food that is prepared by our talented and imaginative Chef and served with a smile to your table by our friendly and courteous staff.
