Coffee shops for that coffee and conversation break and then a pleasant walk up to Orrest Head will give you that wonderful view over the entire Lake Windermere.

Heading down towards Bowness - just a mile away, you will find many more shops - designer, outdoor wear, jewellers, gemstones, gifts, chocolates, the world of Beatrix Potter and much more. There are many more cafe bars and international restaurants. Evenings are packed with choices - pubs playing live music, cinema and a club down by the lake.

Visit the Aquarium, boat museum and take a cruise along the lake.
