Nestled on Green Street near the downtown Sainsbury's store is what we consider to be Cambridge's best Thai cuisine.
As it is in the city centre, it is often packed with visitors. Quite popular with students. Reservations are not necessary, but recommended on Friday or Saturday evenings.
On our last visit, we walked in and were ushered into a small niche with a table for two. Thai food has a reputation for being spicy, so leave your bland inhibitions at the door.
Our personal preference is the Pad Thai overflowing with stir-fried vegetables with its peanut sauce.
Wines are offered with the dishes, so choose the right one. Just before you leave, have some tea to help you relax and smile away your worries. The decor is sedate with flowers carefully placed in corners.
The service is friendly and quick, and the prices are reasonable.
