We have a choice of two eating houses - Fields Restaurant themed on a modern brasserie and the Trappist Monk Bar which serves pub food and a few Belgian specialities and a large selection of Trappist beers!

Luton town centre has a lot to offer so why not venture out and explore. There's a good shopping arena centred around George Street and the Arndale Centre, theatres, cinema and a bowling alley - great fun if you are with friends or the family. There's a new arts and media centre - Artezium and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Just outside the town is the Museum and Art Gallery and Luton Hoo - a great historical house. A little further afield you'll find Woodside Farm and Wildlife Park with smaller animals, play areas and a shop. Head out towards Milton Keynes and you will come to Woburn Abbey and Safari Park - here you'll see everything from tigers, elephants and monkeys to bird life and there are secure areas where you can take a picnic and the children can let off steam.

Two golf courses - one at Woburn and the other at Stockwood. Numerous heritage sites and really pleasant and gentle countryside scenery all around.
