From its origins as a Coaching Inn way back in the 17th century, our establishment has become renown for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly professional staff and the genuine hospitality that is extended to all of our guests. As a small hotel with just 5 twin and double rooms, we can provide a level of personal service that is often lacking in larger, less personal establishments. At the same time we provide a level of amenities and luxury that you may not expect from this class of accommodation.
All of our spacious, cosy and individually decorated rooms are furnished in a country style and have an elegant en-suite bathroom with either a bath or shower and complimentary toiletries are provided, plus central heating; opening windows; hairdryer; colour TV; smoke detectors and tea, coffee making facilities. Non smoking rooms are available on request.
Our restaurant has traditional and stylish oak beams, a feature stone wall and an inglenook fire place, where on chilly evenings an open log fire burns, creating a cosy, relaxing and romantic atmosphere in which to enjoy the exquisite food that is freshly prepared and served with a smile.
On warm summer evenings why not sit and enjoy the sunshine, and a drink from the bar, in our delightful walled garden, an ideal way to unwind at the end of a busy day.
