Our warm, friendly and welcoming hotel is set in the heart of one of England's most authentic and best preserved Tudor villages. Our building dates back to the 14th century and nestles in the very heart of the village and incorporates several notable and historically significant buildings, such as an Elizabethan House and Lavenham's Wool Hall.
With 51 well proportioned, elegantly decorated and supremely comfortable rooms that are richly furnished in a period style, with subtle colours, original wooden beams and wonderfully sumptuous woods that give a rich and vibrant feel, because of the age of the building no two rooms are the same and each room has its own special character. Although great care has been made to preserve the heritage of the original building, all of the modern facilities that you would expect from an Establishment of this class is provided and each room has an elegant en-suite bathroom with bath or shower; central heating; windows that open; a work area with desk, lamp, direct dial telephone with modem connection; trouser press; iron and ironing board; hairdryer; alarm clock radio; in room safe; colour TV with satellite channels, including all the news channels; smoke detectors; security chain; refrigerator;

A wide choice of traditional and international dishes are freshly prepared by our talented and experienced Chef, and served with a smile, choose your favourite bottle of wine from our well stocked cellar to complete your dinning experience perfectly.
