Whitby is a small fishing village on the spectacular North Yorkshire coast. Famed for producing the tastiest oysters in England, it was also the home of the explorer Captain Cook and was chosen by Bram Stoker as the setting for her chilling Gothic tale of Dracula. There are also other things to see and do, the North Yorkshire Steam Railway (6miles), made famous in the 'Harry Potter' films runs through some of the most picturesque scenery and the village of Goathland, better known as Aidensfield in the hit TV series'Heartbeat', is just a short drive away.
Our family owned and operated hotel offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We take great pride in the quality of the attentive, yet unobtrusive service, comfortable, clean and well appointed accommodation and exquisite food that all of our guests enjoy. As a small establishment we really do want you to come back and see us again, and we are pleased to say that many of our guests do.
All of our rooms are pleasantly decorated and equipped with all of the facilities that you would want to find in your choice of accommodation, with some of our rooms having magnificent sea views.

Being so close to the sea and with all of the freshest ingredients on our door step, the sea food truly superb, as is the locally sourced steak, beef and vegetarian options. With regular Gourmet evenings throughout the year and an extensive wine cellar, you can be certain of a culinary delight.
