A nice sea side town if you like your boats then you will enjoy a stay here. The Harwich Lifeboat Station is worth a look for you navel enthusiasts. After all how can you miss the place from which the Mayflower, the ship in which the pilgrim fathers set sail. For a small town it has a surprising array of museums one housed in the lighthouse itself. My friend Alan was born here. He used to take the mickey out of the local accent a bit when he came to University. Duck was his favourite local slang word. "Are you alright duck" a well used local greeting.
